Post your request, connect with a trusted traveler heading your way, and arrange the handover details. Whether it’s a package or a person, your item reaches safely, and you pay only once the job is done.

Post Your Travel Plan

Add your travel details: origin, destination, date, time, transport mode, and the amount you would like to earn. Mention if you are open to carrying a parcel or accompanying someone.

Connect with Senders

Once your trip is posted, senders can reach out with requests. You can also browse sender listings and offer to help with a package or accompany a person.

Finalize the Deal

Discuss and confirm the meeting point, handover details, and payment with the sender. On the travel day, pick up the package or meet the person at the agreed location.

Deliver and Get Paid

Travel to the destination and complete the handover. For parcels, hand it to the recipient in destination location, or courier it (you can ask for extra courier charges from sender). For accompanying someone, hand them over to the sender’s contact. Once done, receive your payment directly from the sender.

How does Shadowmiles.com work?

Shadowmiles.com is a traveler-powered delivery platform that lets travelers earn money by using their unused travel space. Travelers can choose to carry verified packages or accompany someone during their trip and get paid for it.

Your profile and trip are verified through a combination of steps – submitting valid government ID, providing accurate travel details, and completing a quick verification call. These help build your trust score and make you more visible to senders.

Once you accept a request or a sender accepts your offer, you’re expected to complete the delivery as agreed. If you’re unable to follow through due to unavoidable reasons, please inform us or the sender as soon as possible so we can make other arrangements. Repeated or last-minute cancellations may lead to the suspension of your account on Shadowmiles.

 If you’re unable to complete the delivery, contact the sender immediately to discuss alternative solutions, such as couriering the item to their address. Once you’ve accepted the item or agreed to provide the service, we expect you to make your best effort to complete the task. In case of any issues, timely communication with the sender is key to resolving the situation.

If a sender fails to show up at the agreed meeting point, try to contact them and resolve it directly. In the case of accompanying a person, if the receiver does not come to pick them up at the destination station, you are not obligated to drop them elsewhere. While you can choose to help out of kindness, you’re not responsible for making extra arrangements beyond what was agreed.

Shadowmiles is built on a foundation of trust and transparency. To maintain a safe community, we verify each sender’s profile through phone number, email, and government ID verification. In some cases, additional third-party checks may be carried out to ensure credibility and safety for our travelers.

If the sender fails to show up or doesn’t bring the person for the trip as planned, you are not obligated to wait or delay your travel. Try contacting the sender for updates, but if they are unresponsive or unable to proceed, you can continue your journey as scheduled. In such cases, you are not responsible for the delivery, and if you have paid an access fee, it will be fully refunded to you — no questions asked.

Shadowmiles does not take responsibility for any loss, damage, or theft of items during transit. As a traveler, you are responsible for safely handling the package. If you’re claiming baggage insurance, be sure to include the value of the item as shared with you at the time of booking.

You get paid directly by the sender based on the amount you both agreed on. Once you successfully complete the delivery or service, the sender will pay you as per your mutual arrangement.

If no sender accepts your request after you’ve paid the access fee, we’ll refund the full amount – no questions asked. You’ll get your entire fee back, and we’ll also do our best to connect you with other potential senders to help fulfill your request.

You’re allowed to carry legal, safe, and permitted items such as clothing, documents, personal gifts, and other non-restricted goods. You must not carry any illegal, dangerous, or restricted items – including weapons, drugs, flammable goods, perishable food, or any item that violates airline, train, or border security rules. We strongly encourage you to check the travel guidelines and customs regulations of your destination country before accepting any package.

Yes, as a traveler, it is your responsibility to inspect the package before accepting it. Do not carry anything you feel suspicious about or that violates airline or border rules. You have the full right to reject any item that seems unsafe, unlawful, or not permitted for travel. Your safety and compliance come first.

Once your trip has been accepted by a sender, travel details cannot be changed. If your travel plans change unexpectedly, please contact our support team and we’ll assist with updating your trip or informing the sender, as appropriate.

Currently, Shadowmiles does not offer insurance. However, we are working on introducing an insurance plan to help protect both travelers and senders in the future.

You can set your own price, but we recommend keeping it fair and reasonable based on factors like distance, item size, weight, time, and effort involved. To help you decide, we provide estimated pricing guidelines within the platform as a reference point.

Yes, you can accept multiple requests on the same trip. However, make sure your luggage limit allows it, and that you can responsibly manage all commitments. Always prioritize safety and clear communication with each sender.

To increase your chances of getting requests, complete your profile with accurate details, upload a government ID, and verify your phone and email. Adding links to your social profiles can also help senders feel more confident in connecting with you. Be responsive, polite, and reliable — these qualities go a long way in building trust.

We do not share your personal information – including your address, phone number, government ID, or payment details – with any third parties or users without your permission. All data is securely stored and used only for verification purposes.

Please respond to messages promptly and keep your sender or traveler updated throughout the process. We encourage replies within 24 hours to keep things running smoothly.

Having a complete profile builds trust and increases your chances of being contacted. The more details you provide, the more credible and reliable you appear. Don’t worry — your privacy is important to us. We never share your address, credit card information, or passwords with anyone.
